CEO: Russian software to win half market from Microsoft in 5 yrs
ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 7 (PRIME) -- Russian programs of information storage and protection can replace half of Microsoft Office products on the market during five years, Dmitry Komissarov, general director of New Cloud Technologies, working under brand MyOffice, said on June 5.
“In Russia, probably, Microsoft is the largest competitor. We replace it gradually. I think we have such tenders every week,” Komissarov said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
New Cloud Technologies’ major clients are nuclear power corporation Rosatom, postal operator Russian Post, the National Guard, all the courts, the Pension Fund, and railroad carrier Russian Railways.
“I think, progressively, in three to five years, our products will be in half or two thirds of companies,” Komissarov said. “We help them open a cloud and keep documents on their grounds, not with Google or Microsoft.”
